GlowCube ("we", "us", "our") operates the Rocket Universe mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

Account Information — When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google ID, display name, email address, and profile photo URL. These are used solely for authentication and in-game profile display.
Game Data — Your game progress, inventory, coins, gems, rocket builds, launch records, achievements, mission completions, and leaderboard scores are stored on our servers.
Purchase Data — If you make in-app purchases, we receive transaction IDs and product identifiers from Google Play. We do not store your payment card details.
Device Information — We may collect device type, OS version, app version, and a unique device identifier for crash reporting and analytics.
Ad Data — We use Google AdMob for advertisements. AdMob may collect device advertising ID, IP address, and usage data. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Meta / Facebook SDK Data — We use the Meta SDK (Facebook App Events) to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and to understand how players install and use the app. The SDK may collect your device advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / IDFA when available), IP address, device model, OS version, app install/launch timestamps, and standard in-app event signals such as app open, tutorial completion, registration, and purchase. The SDK does not collect your in-game chat content, screenshots, password, or payment card details. Data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc. as an independent controller for ads measurement and optimization purposes. See Meta's Privacy Policy and Meta Business Tools terms for details. You can limit ad personalization at any time via your device's "Ads / Privacy" settings (e.g., Android → Settings → Privacy → Ads → Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID).
Onboarding Screenshots (new players only) — To help us identify usability issues during the first-time tutorial, the app captures a small number of compressed screenshots (typically 5–10 frames per new player, ≤ 30 KB each) at fixed checkpoints in the onboarding flow. These frames show only the game UI; we do not capture text input, passwords, payment details, or content from other apps. Screenshots are stored on our own servers (not shared with third parties), tied to your in-game session ID rather than your personal identity, automatically deleted 30 days after capture, and the entire feature switches OFF the moment you finish the tutorial — which means once you have launched your first rocket, performed your first fine-tune, and completed the tutorial walkthrough, no further screenshots are taken for the rest of your time playing the game. You can opt out at any time before then in Settings → Privacy.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the game service
To save your game progress across devices
To process in-app purchases
To display leaderboards and social features
To send game-related notifications (e.g., research/fine-tune completion)
To serve relevant advertisements via Google AdMob
To measure ad campaign performance and attribute installs via the Meta SDK (Facebook App Events)
To detect fraud, cheating, and abuse
To improve game balance and user experience through aggregated analytics and (where applicable) onboarding screenshots described in section 1

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

Google — for authentication (Google Sign-In) and advertising (AdMob)
Meta Platforms (Facebook) — for ad campaign measurement, install attribution, and audience building. Standard app event signals (app open, tutorial completion, registration, purchase) and device advertising identifiers are sent to Meta. We do not share your in-game chat, gameplay screenshots, or login credentials with Meta.
Cloud Infrastructure — our servers run on cloud hosting; data is stored securely with encryption at rest
Legal Authorities — if required by law or to protect our rights

Onboarding screenshots are not shared with any third party — they remain on our own infrastructure for the entire 90-day retention period and are then permanently deleted.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your game data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion:

Your account will be immediately deactivated (you cannot log in or play)
An administrator will review and permanently delete all personal data and game progress within 30 days
If you change your mind, you may contact us within the 30-day review period to cancel the deletion
Purchase transaction records may be retained for up to 3 years for legal and tax compliance
Onboarding screenshots are auto-deleted after 30 days regardless of account status, and the capture feature switches off permanently for your account as soon as you complete the tutorial

5. Children's Privacy

Rocket Universe is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your account and all associated data
Opt out of personalized ads via your device's ad settings
Opt out of onboarding screenshot capture in Settings → Privacy

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure server infrastructure to protect your data.

9. Changes to This Policy
